Karen Larson, Graphic Designer

Karen Larson is a brand strategist, hands-on graphic designer, collaborator, and co-founder of LMstudio, a branding | design | art firm. 

Karen has built her career partnering and serving corporate and entrepreneurial businesses internationally, including such companies as Neenah, Inc., The Detroit Zoological Society, Compuware Corporation, Little Caesars, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Ford Motor Company, Countrywide Bank, University of Michigan, Oakwood Hospital, Bank of America, Planning Alternatives, HealthCall of Detroit, and many others.    

In her spare time, Karen serves on the board and volunteers her time as a designer for Heart 2 Hart Detroit, a homegrown non-profit serving the homeless and needy in Detroit. Karen also donates her time to help the amazing people at The Information Center, a 45-year-old non-profit organization serving Southeast Michigan. She lives just outside of Detroit, MI, with her husband, artist Robert Mirek, and her two fur babies Loki and Otis.

Robert Mirek, Fine Artist

Robert has made a career as a professional artist. He’s committed to his body of work and has shared it with the world. Over the years, he has shown throughout the United States and several locations in Europe and Asia.

A graduate of the Center for Creative Studies, Robert had a 30-year career as a Designer/Art Director at some of Detroit’s most prestigious marketing firms in Detroit including Maritz Communications, Sandy Corporation and Visual Services, Inc.
