GrandPerspective is an awesome utility that will that will graphically shows the disk usage within your MAC OS X file system. It can help you to manage your disk, as you can easily spot which files and folders take up the most space. It uses a so called tree map for visualization. Each file is shown as a rectangle with an area proportional to the file's size. Files in the same folder appear together, but their placement is otherwise arbitrary. What does your hard drive look like?

What would we do without Lynda?

Lynda.com is an online training website started by Lynda Weinman and Bruce Heavin over a decade ago. Their mission: Helping you learn, master, and apply digital tools and techniques. As solo designers we are always struggling to keep up with the technology, and without Lynda.com I honestly don't know how we would do it. We have subscribe to their training website year after year, and whenever we have a question about how to do something Lynda.com is the first place we go. Thanks Lynda!!!
